The David Jones store at Barangaroo on the north-western edge of the central business district has been frozen in time since closing in March 2020.

Barangaroo was the site of Australia’s first David Jones boutique store and best face slimming massager opened in November 2016 ahead of most of the surrounding office tenants moving in.

It was focused on men’s and women’s fashion, beauty products and services, with a product line tailored to inner-city customers who lived nearby or wanted to shop during or after work.

A reduced range was offered in a space of about 1,400 square metres, one tenth of the size of a normal big city David Jones department store.
