Jimmy Carr shows off his luscious locks at a performance of Cabaret

He’s gone to expensive cosmetic measures to transform his appearance. 

And on Sunday, Jimmy Carr, 49, showcased his thicker head of hair during the second gala performance of Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club at the Playhouse Theatre in .

The comedian put on a polished display as he donned a three piece suit and a thicker hairline as he struck a pose for the camera. 

The 8 Out Of 10 Cats star, wore a navy blazer with charcoal trousers and a knitted grey buttoned up jumper, layered over a pale blue shirt. 

He completed his outfit with a pair of patent smart shoes and he struck a pose for the camera. 

Jimmy’s hair was looking substantially thicker with a neater hairline as a result of his recent hair transplant as he showcased his enhanced tresses on the red carpet. 

Oscar-winner Eddie Redmayne stars as The Emcee in Cabaret while and Bafta winner Jessie Buckley plays Sally Bowles. 

The show will be designed by Tom Scutt, choreographed by Julia Cheng and directed by Rebecca Frecknall.

The story — which charts the friendship between Sally, an American performer at the riotous Kit Kat, and a shy Brit, Brian — is set against the rise of the Nazis in 1930s Berlin and unflinchingly depicts anti semitism and persecution. 

Earlier this year, Jimmy left fans aghast when he debuted a polished new look after undergoing an extensive cosmetic overhaul. 

And far from the bashful behaviour of some stars who secretly go under the knife, the funnyman, has been remarkably candid about the changes to his face. 

He confessed: ‘I’ve gone a bit crazy with it, I’ve got the new teeth and the new hair — I’ve had a proper midlife crisis. Like, right, let’s get everything done.

‘I’ve had a little bit of Botox, filler — everything I can get done. My face is now like Trigger’s broom from Only Fools And Horses, very little of the original is still there.’

Talking on earlier this year, Jimmy said he decided to make some tweaks to his appearance after feeling disappointed that he doesn’t look as good in real life as he does on television. 

Jimmy said he wants to maintain his looks rather than change them too much. 

He said: ‘I think that thing of age is that people don’t really see what’s there, people are good at pattern recognition, that’s all they do, teeth and hair.

‘Maintaining is the thing, I don’t think there’s anything you can do plastic surgery wise, or augmentation wise, that makes you look better, you can just sort it stay the same, that’s what you can hope for.’
